Who are Telstar?

Telstar are a four piece alternative rock band from Watford, Hertfordshire.

They formed in early 2011 and went on to win the MMG three counties battle of the bands later that year. Since then they have played various venues around the UK including some of the most prestigious venues in London. Their sound mixes interesting chord progressions, with gritty poetic lyrics and their varied set lists meander through styles and leave the audience wondering what on earth is coming next.

Among their influences they list Muse, Radiohead, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Placebo and Nirvana.

In 2012 Telstar supported "Tynchy Stryder" at Verulamium Park in St Albans for the official Paralympic torch procession.
